The Graceville Skin Cancer Clinic is in the heart of Graceville Queensland. This is our Second Practice with our sister clinic being Family First Medical Centre in Hervey Bay.

After visiting Graceville while on holiday in 2021 our family fell in love with this community and its spirit and we decided to move to the Graceville area. This led to us opening our second clinic location in Oxley Road Graceville.

Dr Norval brings to the Graceville area expert and comprehensive expertise as a Skin Cancer Doctor. Dr Norval is at the forefront with all diagnostic and treatment methods with over 26 years as a Medical Doctor and 15 years experience as a Skin Cancer Doctor.

Dr Stephanie Tang is a highly experienced and compassionate practitioner with over 15 years in medical practice. She holds a Master’s in Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland and has advanced surgical expertise, particularly in cosmetically sensitive areas. Dr Tang is known for her genuine care and professionalism, earning the trust of her patients through years of dedicated service.

The Graceville Skin Cancer Clinic has the latest advancements when it comes to our Skin Cancer Examination and Screening Program using a state of the art digital MoleMax HD Machine.

The clinic is supported by a dedicated and experienced team committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
– Alissa Mahoney, our highly experienced Practice Manager, ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic and supports both patients and staff.
– Vicky Polley, our Registered Nurse, has been with the clinic since its establishment in 2021. She is passionate about providing exceptional nursing care and offers attentive support throughout initial skin checks and all aspects of patient treatment.
– Maddie Ross, our administrator, works primarily remotely and is readily available to assist patients with enquiries via phone or email, ensuring seamless communication and support.
– Hayley, our Theatre Administrator, is known for her warm and friendly approach. She consistently goes above and beyond to support both patients and the clinical team, helping to create a positive and welcoming environment.

Our Practice also has an onsite pathology collection centre 4CYTE Pathology and we are across the road from 2 Pharmacies across the road for easy access to medications.

We run an online clinic for our Graceville location whereby you can access your patient forms and make/change/reschedule or cancel any of your bookings by visiting HOTDOC.

Our fees for our Skin Checks are $220.00 with a Medicare Rebate of $43.90. All biopsies, excisions and wound care will continue to be bulk billed. This fee is to be paid for every skin check you book and is not a ‘per year’ fee. You will need to have a current Medicare Card at the time of your appointment as well as a bank card that is registered with Medicare to receive your rebate. Please note if your online rebate does not go through on the day we will offer you a hard copy receipt to provide to Medicare for rebate purchases or which you can upload to the Medicare App. Our Medicare Billing system (Tyro) does not accept phone ‘tap’ for rebate purposes, you will need to provide us with a bank card that is registered with Medicare. To avoid any issues with your rebate from occurring you can register with Medicare online a few days prior to coming in for your appointment. Your results are also always uploaded to ‘MyGov’ for your convenience.
